Arts center holds holiday art sale, offers refreshments [UPDATED]
Published 9:09am Thursday, December 13, 2012 Updated 11:12am Thursday, December 13, 2012A Center for the Arts is having a holiday art sale all month long in December, and all the art in our lobby is currently for sale. We also have free hot cider and cookies.
Unlike most art “exhibits,” when you buy a piece of art this month, we take it right off the wall and hand it to you, so you have time to wrap it and get it to where ever it needs to go.
A Center for the Arts is located in downtown Fergus Falls in the Fergus Theatre at 124 W. Lincoln Ave. Our lobby is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., plus an hour before performances. We’ll also be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
The art sale features works by Green Diva Designs, Tin Horse Enterprises, Scott Wagnild, Karen Kern, Chris Welle, Karan Ouren, Marion Otnes, and Karla Gallagher.
Art for sale includes canvas photographs, acrylic paintings, water colors, photo note cards and note cards of water colors, beaded jewelry, ceramics, holiday placemats and napkins. All prices include sales tax, and the proceeds are split between A Center for the Arts and the individual artist.
