Thanksgiving goes to almighty dollar [UPDATED]

Thanksgiving Day for the past 70-plus years was always on the last Thursday in the month of November. Things went well.

But now that the almighty dollar has taken over is there not an almighty being, will the dollar try to change Christmas also? That will be the last straw.

Keep Christmas, Christmas as it is meant to be, when it is meant to be.

    Except that since the 1940s, Thanksgving has been on the fourth Thursday, not the last Thursday. Thanksgiving was also not the last Thursday in 2007, as one example.
