Chargers shut down Rockets 54-48

UNDERWOOD — The Brandon/Evansville Chargers were able to take advantage of a reeling Underwood Rockets team Thursday as they won a Little Eight Conference game 54-48.

John Haseman led the Chargers with 25 points and 14 rebounds, while teammates Blake Satterlie (12) and Patrick Schaffer (11) were also in double figures.

The Rockets’ Zane Line netted 22 tallies and teammate Chase Collings chipped in 13.

The Chargers will look to continue their hot streak as they travel to Ashby Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. LEC tilt, while the Rockets will prepare for the MN/ND shootout as they open against Lidgerwood/Wyndmere Monday.
