Former Otter Magnusson quoted in MN Hockey Journal [UPDATED]

Former Fergus Falls Otter girls hockey player and current Mankato State University Mavericks defenseman, Erika Magnusson, was quoted in the Minnesota Hockey Journal.

The former Otters was quoted in the article ‘Big Time, Little Town’, in response to small community hockey programs producing big time talent.

Magnusson was quoted in saying “In a small town, you can just be yourself and know that your entire community is behind you. Especially in a smaller community, you really make a lot of good friends and meet a lot of great families. I have been very fortunate to have the coaches and friends I have had along the way.”
