BARRETT — The West Central Knights were not able to hang with the No. 9 (Class A) Browerville Tigers in the second half as they fell 74-58 Thursday.

West Central looked to give the Tigers all they could handle in the first half as they trailed by a bucket for most of the half.

Browerville would nail two three pointers before the break to exit the court up 36-28 at half.

The Tigers were able to expand their lead in the second half and never look back as they left with a road victory.

Dakotah Kashmark led the West Central shooters with 24 points, while teammate Austin Redepenning chipped in 11.

Browerville knocked down eight of 11 shots from beyond the three point line.

The Knights will look to get back on track before the Holiday break as they host Royalton Thursday in a 5:30 p.m. tilt.
