PARKERS PRAIRIE — The Ashby Arrows were able to pull out a victory after being down early to Parkers Prairie. Down by a score of 33-27 at halftime, the Arrows were able to rally in the second half and win 71-65.

J.P. Moe had a big game for the Arrows, leading the comeback by scoring 32 points in the game. “J.P. was lights out on threes tonight.” Coach Jeremy Knick of the Arrows said. “He was 8 of 17 beyond the arch for the night and 6 of 8 in the second half alone. He really got us back into this game and put us in a position to win. Basketball is a team game and it takes everyone to get the job done, but someone usually needs to step up and out and J.P. did that for his team tonight.”

Other leaders for Ashby were Blake Ohren with 14 points, and Dylan Barry with 10 points.

“This was a good Little Eight Conference game and Parkers Prairie came ready to play. They had energy on defense and they made good decisions on offense.” Said Coach Knick about the game.

Ashby will take their momentum to Brandon-Evansville for a game Tuesday.
