PR school bond vote set for March 12

Published 11:03am Friday, December 14, 2012

School bonding for roof replacement and renovation of several areas of school will be placed on the ballot for Pelican School district voters March 12.Owen

The school building bond referendum will be nearly $18 million dollars.

March 12 is also the election date for most townships within the school district boundaries. While this might help with turnout, it could also cause confusion.

Agricultural land and seasonal-recreational land would not be exempted from the building levy, as they are in the operating levy.

Details on the plans will be discussed in upcoming school board meetings.
