Nobody was injured in a one vehicle rollover that resulted in a vehicle being partly submerged in water near Ottertail Friday.

Kevin James Nold, 56, of Valley City, N.D., was allegedly driving a 2000 Dodge, Caravan about 15 miles per hour west around a curve on Donald Road. Nold lost control of the van and slid into the right ditch where the vehicle rolled and came to rest partially submerged in Donald Lake.

There were no passengers in the vehicle, and Nold was wearing a seatbelt.

This was one of several winter weather related vehicle accidents throughout Otter Tail County over the weekend. The Sheriff’s Office urges drivers to be careful on the slick roads.

“The roads remain a mix of wintry ice and slush,” said Lt. Matthew McGuire. “Please use caution and drive with due care.”
