$300 missing from arena [UPDATED]

About $300 was reported missing from the pocket of a pair of pants left in the Community Arena locker room Friday.

The complainant allegedly left the pants in a locker room during noon skate. About $300, mostly in $20s, was allegedly stolen.

The pants were not left in a locked locker, and the complainant told police there were rumors of other thefts occurring in the locker room.

Police urge residents to lock up valuables when leaving them in a public place.

    wow! I think it’s still acceptable to sympathize with those who have been the victims of thievery even in cases where they were negligent. it’s still a far greater wrong to steal.
