FF eighth graders celebrating art

Kennedy Middle School has some talented budding artists, including eighth-grade artists of the week.

Each week art honors are given out for following project instructions and creativity.

“In my 38 years of teaching, this is one of the best eighth-grade groups of artists I’ve seen,” said art teacher Carmen Nelson. “An example would be the ceramic glazes we did — they are well above the eighth-grade level.”

Artists of the week for this school year so far are Davide Chamour, Erika Neubauer, Jade Emery, Taylor Kugler, Zach Boyd, Abby Swenson, Katelyn Wiederich, Antonia Starzl, Rylie Sheridan, Paige Westra, Autumn Peterson, Tori Adkins, Eric Tysdal, Margaret Ludwig-Ness, Joplin Shol and Rena Nelson.
