‘Jackets boys zip past Cowboys 75-49

PERHAM – The Perham Yellowjackets flew past the Breckendridge Cowboys Tuesday night with a quick first half, winning the contest 75-49.

The Yellowjackets were able to hold the Cowboys to just 18 points in the first half, adding 35 of their own and taking control of the game early.

Despite a 31 point surge in the second half, Brekenridge gave up 40 to the Yellowjackets, sealing the victory for Perham.

Tyler Glines lead Perham’s strong offensive attack with 18 points, half of which came from behind the three-point line.

The Cowboys were lead offensively by Parker Busse with 15. Jordan Christensen just missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds on the night.

Perham hopes to put up another tenacious offensive effort Friday night when they hit the road to take on the 2-4 New London-Spicer Wildcats.
