Naomi Beske and Nicole Scott like helping.

“No matter what the project is, these two girls are always willing to help,” said teacher Carmen Nelson. “They are particularly good with assisting students that may not catch on right away — they both have a lot of patience.”

“I like to see them smile when I help,” said Scott. “Sometimes they don’t know how to draw something, so I draw it and let them copy me.”

“Some kids have different abilities,” said Beske. “It makes me happy to help.”

“They will jump in and help without being asked,” said Nelson. “That’s not typical for seventh graders.”
