‘The Reason’
Published 12:15pm Thursday, December 20, 2012Free will was God the Father’s design. The design allows us to stumble, fall, accelerate, succeed, rise above circumstances, love, and be loved.
I choose to have faith that God has never left me nor forsaken me; that all the good and perfect gifts are from God; any other “stuff” is of our own doing (or undoing) or attacks from the Ruler of Darkness.
God’s love for us, once it was established that on our own we would self destruct, God chose to give us an “out.”
In the beginning was the Word, The Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus the spoken Word (Living Word) was made flesh to give us a way out of darkness into His marvelous light.
All we have to do is to believe in our heart that Christ is the Son of God (Living Word made flesh), that Jesus was here to show how much we are loved, that He suffered, died, was buried, descended in hell, took away the power of death (satan), ascended into heaven, and continues to intercede for us.
We cannot earn or just be “good” to spend eternity with God, for the Word instructs us that without faith we cannot please God and would ultimately be seperated from God for eternity.
So let us celebrate because Jesus was made flesh as a means for us to fulfill God’s plan for us. God is so good and deserves our praise. Merry Christmas.

So god gave us “Free Will”, but if we use that free will to question and think for ourselves he will burn and torture us for ever and ever. But he loves us.
God loves even you, Curly. What patience He must have to love someone who hates Him so thoroughly. You are fortunate that there is at least somoene who does.
I realize this may be a difficult proposition for you to grasp, but it is impossible to hate someone who doesn’t exist. So you can see how silly it is for you to hate Santa Clause because you didn’t get one of those new “Easy Bake” ovens for little boys this year. You’ll just have to use your old pink one for another year.
So your wife is Catholic, yet you constantly belittle and mock those that believe in God, here and across the Internet. You must be a joy to live with AckerMunk.
