Weather related accidents warrant caution

Published 12:55pm Thursday, December 20, 2012

Several weather related traffic accidents and vehicles in ditches were reported by the Fergus Falls police department and the Sheriff’s office.
One accident in Fergus Falls, on the intersection of Lincoln and First Avenue, involved three vehicles. Two vehicles were at a stop light, and the third slid into them. The driver was cited for failure to take due care for driving too fast on a slippery road.
“With the upcoming holiday and increase in traffic, keep speeds down according to road conditions and traffic,” said Sheriff Schlueter.
