SRR Storm defeat Otter gymnasts

SAUK RAPIDS — The Fergus Falls gymnasts took on Sauk Rapids-Rice in a Central Lakes Conference meet with the home team getting the win 139.85-118.625.

“The girls had there best score so far this season,” Otter coach Erin Larson said.

Laura Enderson who’s 8.4 on vault and 7.7 on floor netted her season highs in those events. Camryn Appert had a season best on bars with a 6.85, while teammate Morgan Jarandson also had a season best 7.55 on the floor.

Chandler Frigaards was fourth on beam with an 8.35. She also took third in the all around competition, followed by Appert in fourth and Enderson in fifth.

The Otters will be off over the break, but will return to action Jan. 3 against the Brainerd Warriors.
