Fergus Falls woman convicted of ramming car into another [UPDATED]

The Fergus Falls woman accused of ramming her car into another vehicle multiple times Feb. 25 was convicted Dec. 17 of second degree assault by use of a dangerous weapon, a felony.

According to court reports, Jolee Marie Ackerman, 28, rammed her vehicle into another car five to ten times between Kmart and the River Bluff Apartments, eventually deploying her own airbags and causing substantial damage to both vehicles.

Ackerman was sentenced to 180 days in the Otter Tail County Jail and a $1,000 fine.
