Fridley man hurt in snowmobile crash [UPDATED]

A Fridley man was injured in a snowmobile accident near Underwood Friday morning.

Michael Olsen was driving his 1999 Arctic Cat west on the shoulder of State Highway 210 when he struck a mailbox at about 8 a.m. The mailbox and snowmobile were damaged and Olsen was transported by Ringdahl Ambulance to Lake Region Healthcare for non-life threatening injuries. Olsen was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and the case is under investigation.

    alcohol at 8 in the morning??? this guy is a frickin rockstar. you cant drink all day if you dont start in the morning. those dang mailboxes have a habit of jumping out at you. you could be riding along and all of a sudden a mailbox with the name camilla ryan jumps out and nails you. see where im going here? lol. whoops i forgot to blame president bush and obama, sorry, my bad
