A pickup reportedly knocked over a garbage can and bent a “No Parking” sign in a hit-and-run on the 600 block of Court Street Monday.

After striking the sign and garbage can, the driver, described as a white male about 20 years old, stepped out of the silver Ford pickup and checked the front, driver’s side fender before getting back in and driving off.

Photos were taken, and the sign will be fixed by the street department.

Police have no suspects, and it is unclear what caused the accident.
