Rockets blast past Warriors 68-64

PELICAN RAPIDS — The Underwood girls basketball team saw four players in double figures as they recorded a 68-64 win over Warroad in the Pelican Rapids Valhalla holiday tournament Thursday.

Carly Masloski put in 25 tallies for the Rockets, while teammates Megan Biegler (13) Kaitlyn Holen (13) and Greta Thormodson (12) were also in double digits in the win.

Underwood was an shot an impressive 55 percent from the field, hitting 27 of 49 shots.

The Rockets will now take on the hosting Pelican Rapids Vikings in a 7:15 p.m. championship game Friday.
