Vikings top Eagles

PELICAN RAPIDS — The hosting Viking girls were able to make quick work of Norman County East 71-29 in the Minnesota National Bank Holiday Girls Basketball Classic Thursday night.

Mackenzie Korf led the Pelican Rapids shooters with 19 points, while her sister, Madison, added 17 of her own.

The Viking defense put pressure on the Eagles forcing 26 turnovers in the win.

The Vikings will now play Underwood in the tournament championship Friday at 7:15 p.m.
