Tonight marks a night of celebration, but it is important to be responsible and call for a ride if necessary. For those who would rather not line up a designated driver, taxi services throughout the city are ready to go.locked

City Cab Service will have at least one minivan out all night capable of transporting up to six at a time. Rates will likely be about $8 per ride within Fergus Falls. City Cab Service can be reached at 218 736 3520.

Fergus Cab will have van service available until 2 p.m. this evening.

A-1 City Shuttle reported it will have three minivans shuttling partygoers around tonight. Rides before 9 p.m. will be about $7, and later rides will be about $9 within the city. A-1 will also offer free rides from bar to bar. The phone number for A-1 City Shuttle is 218 770 4265.

The Fergus Falls Police Department encourages those who plan to drink New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day to call a cab, or use a designated driver.

“Remember to make sure you have a designated driver if you are out drinking, and stay safe,” said Detective Sergeant Carol Schmaltz of the Fergus Falls Police Department.
