The Fergus Falls Fish and Game Club will be holding its 2013 Annual Meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the Otter Tail Power community meeting rooms.

Our guest speaker is John Hansel, WRP Planner/Project Manager with the Natural Resources Conservation Service. John will be sharing information on the Wetlands Reserve Program which is a permanent conservation easement that is focused on restoring wetlands and associated uplands on private property.

In addition to owning and managing 1,100 acres of land that is open to public use, our club supports local youth and adult environment, education and safety programs, habitat and food plot projects, plus other activities aimed at preserving our natural resources.

Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in a lower-level classroom at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center (please note that the above-noted annual meeting will replace our normal monthly meeting in January).

If you have an interest in learning more about our club please call Mick Siems (739-4803) or consider joining us at one of our monthly meetings.
