Memorial service at Angel of Hope Park set for Dec. 6 [UPDATED]

A candlelight remembrance service for families who have experienced the death of a child is planned at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Angel of Hope Park, at Adams Park in Fergus Falls.

Families are encouraged to bring a white flower and a candle to the service.

Jerry and Karen Ness will share the story of their son’s death at the Salvation Army following the remembrance service for people hurting following the death of a child.

Memorial cards are available from any committee member or at any of the local funeral homes. Families may contact committee members to get their loved one’s name on the pillars or to donate to the Angel of Hope Park.
