Woman arrested for assault

The keen eye of a police officer led to the arrest of a woman who assaulted a man Saturday.

Justine Hammer, 18, of Fergus Falls was arrested for third degree domestic assault after a police officer witnessed her strike a man, who was later found to have visible marks on his skin from the assault.

The assault occurred at the intersection of Friberg and Summit avenues at about 3:30 p.m.
