Man falls off forklift [UPDATED]

A Dalton man was injured after he fell 20 feet to the ground while trying to cut down a tree Wednesday.

The 42-year-old was standing on a raised forklift when he fell at about 2:30 p.m.

He was taken to Lake Region Healthcare by Ashby ambulance. The severity of the man’s injuries was not provided by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
