New baby for the new year [UPDATED]
Published 11:11am Thursday, January 3, 2013 Updated 11:11am Thursday, January 3, 2013Baby Anton was anxious to be the first New Year’s arrival at Lake Region Health in Fergus Falls.
His mom, Natasha Weisenberger, started feeling contractions while working at Target on New Year’s Eve, three weeks before her due date.
“He really wanted the spot light,” said dad Troy Weisenberger. “I thought they were going to send us home, but when we got to the hospital at about 12:20 a.m. she was already five centimeters dialated.”
Anton Weisenberger was born at 1:33 a.m. on New Year’s Day, weighing in at a healthy six pounds, nine ounces. He is named after Natasha’s Dad, whose middle name is Anton.
Arriving early wasn’t the only surprise baby Anton gave his parents. Already having two daughters, plus Troy having an additional son and daughter, the couple had decided not to have more children.
“I went in to get my tubes tied and during my pre-op appointment, the doctor said you are going to have to call an O.B. — you’re pregnant,” said Natasha, adding that it was a good surprise. “I really wanted a boy.”
Anton joins 10-month-old sibling Brinlee and three-year-old KayLea, and has a six-year-old step brother, Donald, and ten-year-old step sister Allyssa.
Mom and baby are both doing well.

If they all have the same dad as was written, they are a half brother and half sister not step brother and step sister.
