“We are so excited to have the book wrapped up by Christmas as it has such great seasonal illustrations: especially of winter,” said Jackie Jenson, the book’s author. “It is such a great read-aloud book for parents, grandparents and teachers to read to children,” added Hagel. “Kids love the bright colors and funny rhymes.”
Complete with a distinctive artist’s touch and strong sing song voice, “Jon and The Soggy Leaf” is a perfect book for pre-readers as well as those just beginning to read and write independently.
With fluid rhyming word patterns language and vibrant illustrations, “Jon and The Soggy Leaf” quickly engages its audience to want to read more as the reader begins to anxiously anticipate what the next exciting season, funny rhyme and imaginative page will look like.
