Chargers cage Tigers

EVANSVILLE — Back in action for the first time in the New Year, the Brandon-Evansville boys were able to stymie the Rothsay Tigers 62-25 in a Thursday Little Eight Conference game.

The Chargers came out firing on all cylinders as they were able to build a 27-11 lead going into the break.

A rough shooting night, saw the Tigers added 14 points in the second half as Rothsay continues to look for their first win in conference play.

Brandon-Evansville was led by John Hasemen in the scoring category with 29 tallies, while teammates Blake Satterlie and Patrick Schaffer were also in double digits with 13 and 10, respectively.

The Chargers will look to continue their momentum as they travel to take on West Central Area Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Tigers will host the currently undefeated Ashby Arrows in a 7:30 p.m. LEC battle Tuesday.
