Knight girls ride to win

In the first part of a girls and boys double-header, the West Central Area girls were able to pick up a 40-33 win over the hosting Battlers Saturday.

Kelsey Hammer led the Knights in scoring with 11 points, while teammate Holly Van Kampen cleaned the glass Saturday night as she recorded 16 rebounds in the win.

The Knights will now travel to take on No. 8 (Class A) Parkers Prairie Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., while the Battlers will look to rebound as they head to Ashby Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. Little Eight Conference battle.
