M State Men down Norsemen 71-51

GRAND RAPIDS — The M State Men’s basketball team saw a strong defensive effort give them a 71-51 win over Mesabi Range Saturday at the Itasca Classic.

Shane Bosek once again led the Spartan scorers dropping in 21 points, while teammates Chuckie Smith (13) and Boomer Blossom (11) were also in double figures.

The Spartans will be back to regular play Wednesday as they host Minnesota West in a 8 p.m. MCAC Southern Division game.
