M State offers CNA training in Fergus Falls [UPDATED]

Individuals interested in a career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) have an opportunity for training this spring at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls.

The course is offered from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays from Jan. 14 thru Feb. 12.

In addition to classroom work, students will be required to complete 20 hours of clinical training.

Interested students must complete the online “Visiting Student” application at www.minnesota.edu/forms and also register online for the course at www.minnesota.edu/cna. Click on credit-based courses under the Nursing Assistant heading, and then on Fergus Falls Spring 2013 to register for HLTH 1115.

A background check is required, and students who complete the course and are hired as CNAs are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of the course.
