M State Men continue streak, top Rams 87-70

The M State Spartan Men were able to take home a 87-70 win over Southern Division rival Anoka-Ramsey Golden Rams Sunday.

Last week’s Southern Division player of the week Shane Bosek recorded a double-double in the game with 23 points and 10 rebounds for M State. Luke Halbakken (22), Chuckie Smith (11), Gavin Dettwiler (11) and Jason Nelson (10) were also in double figures for the Spartans in the win.

The Rams were led by Perri Vaden with 20 points and 10 boards.

The Spartans remain undefeated in the new year and will look to test that against Western Wisconsin Tech on the road Wednesday at 8 p.m.
