A Fargo man was sentenced Friday to one year in jail (360 days are stayed for two years) for theft from a camper in a campground near Dent.

Abdelrham Abdelmunim Abdella, 21, of Fargo was arrested on June 5, 2012 when police found him outside a camper at Seclusion Point Campground on McDonald Lake, west of Dent.

Abdella was seen putting beer cans under the camper, which police later identified as beer from the camper, according to Otter Tail County court documents. They also discovered the camper had been entered. Also found was a ring and change from clothing.
