Energy assistance program available to area residents [UPDATED]

The Energy Assistance Program help is available for your energy costs. The average grant is $612. Funding is provided for oil, propane, wood, electric or natural gas costs. Residents of Pope, Traverse, Clay, Wilkin, Douglas, Grant and Stevens counties may call West Central MN Communities Action at 1-800-492-4805 for an application.diffusion

Certain income guidelines must be met. There is no asset limit.

This program is funded by the Minnesota Department of Commerce and U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.
