Hoffbeck, Steen are 2013 AAA award winners [UPDATED]

Callie Ann Hoffbeck and Sam Steen, seniors at Fergus Falls High School are the 2013 AAA award winners. The AAA award cites Academics, Arts and Athletics.

They will now advance to the Secion 8AA contest to go against the winners of the other 15 section schools. The winners of the section advance to the state competition in the Twin Cities in late March.

Hoffbeck has maintained a 3.6 GPA or better over her career. She is involved in orchestra and choir.

In athletics, she has been on the varsity in cross country and track since her middle school days. She is looking to attend Concordia, Augsburg or Moorhead State next year.

Steen has maintained a 3.6 GPA or better over his career.

He is involved in band, choir and orchestra. In athletics, he has been in soccer, lettered strength training and tennis. He will attend M-State in Fergus Falls next fall.
