Evansville arts center seeks work for spring exhibition [UPDATED]

The Evansville Arts Coalition will re-open for the 2013 season with its annual photography exhibit at the Evansville Art Center, downtown Evansville.

This exhibit will run from 10 a.m. Friday, March 8 through noon on Saturday, April 27.

Gallery and Free Book Lending Library hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays or by special appointment by calling Karen Howell, EAC President, at 218-948-2836. Any area photographer is welcome to exhibit during this time.

Photo guidelines — Each photo on exhibit must be framed and ready for wall hanging in at least a 5×7 inch frame and not more than 18×24 inches in size. Each artist may exhibit up to five (5) photos that have not been in any prior EAC exhibit.

The photographs may be of an subject, black and white or color, and must have been taken by the artist.

Photos may be for sale with the artist determining the sale price.

Your photos must be picked up between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, or make prior arrangements to pick up your photos by calling Karen Howell. Deliver your framed photos to the Evansville Hardware Store, 119 Main St., beginning Feb, 25
