Lake Region Healthcare and LB Homes Lakeland Hospice in Fergus Falls are partnering to offer a special Alzheimer’s educational series as part of their Caregiver Support Group. The two part series will offer information from the Alzheimer’s Association.

The first session will be held at 5:30 to 7 p.m. tonight with the topic “Know the 10 Signs.” The second session is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, and focuses on “Positive Interactions with People with Dementia.”

Jess Steinbrenner, Regional Care Consultant for the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter, will be the presenter for both sessions. She says the 10 Signs presentation is appropriate and important for all people to understand.
