Rocket girls win LEC contest over Chargers

UNDERWOOD — The Rocket girls were able to defend their home court Tuesday night as they sent Little Eight Conference foe Brandon-Evansville home with a 44-36 loss.insects

Carly Masloski had a monster night for Underwood scoring 18 points and pulling down 19 rebounds for a double-double. Teammate Megan Biegler added 11 tallies in the win.

Megan Friedrich paced the Charger girls with 10 marks.

The Rockets will be back in action Thursday as they host the Hancock Owls in a 7:30 p.m. tilt, while the Chargers will look to get back on the right side of the scoreboard as they travel to Ashby Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
