Woodland Lodge open house postponed

Published 11:47am Thursday, January 24, 2013

Due to the extremely cold temperatures of late, a sprinkler pipe froze at the Woodland Lodge on Monday evening resulting in two rooms sustaining limited water damage. One room sustained only minor damage and the other, moderate damage to the ceiling. Only a few pieces of furniture were affected.

LB Homes has post-poned the open house that was scheduled Tuesday, Jan. 29. “Since the damage was minor, the repair work can be done rather quickly, however, we want to take the time to get to the bottom of the issue, so this doesn’t happen again,” said John Zwiers, Chief Operating Officer of LB Homes.

Other gatherings scheduled at Woodland Lodge will be held as planned. There will be notices made in the newspaper and radio when the open house for the general public can be rescheduled.
