Chargers back to .500 with win over Arrows

ASHBY — The Brandon/Evansville girls were able to get back to .500 Thursday as they edged the hosting Ashby Arrows 55-50.

The Chargers Megan Friedrich and Megan Kokett were both in double digits with 19 and 18 points, respectively. Teammate Emily Friedrich also chipped in 10 tallies in the win.

Amber Sundal dropped in 20 marks for the Arrows.

The Chargers will be on the road Friday as they take on Henning in a 7:30 p.m. LEC tilt, while the Arrows will look to end their five game skid as they hit the road for a game against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
