Clifford was born near Rothsay, on Feb. 19, 1921. He moved with his parents, Peter and Thelma (Halbakken) Anderson to the farm in Trondhjem Township. He loved little children and animals, especially his cats, which he kept well fed. He was always proud of the well-manicured yard and barnyard.
After his father passed away in l961, he and his mother continued to live on the farm until her death in 1999.
In 2000, he moved into Mill Pond View Apartments. He always loved to visit in the Norwegian language and was soon known there as the “little Norwegian” or “Chuckles.”
