FARGO – The Hillcrest Comet girls could not overcome a slow start Saturday afternoon as the Oak Grove Grovers defended their home court with a 68-34 win.

Kelsey Nersten had a great game for the Comets scoring 23 points, while teammate Laura Tungseth pulled down seven rebounds in the game.

“Kelsey had her strongest game yet,” Hillcrest coach Charlie Brue said.

The Comets will be back in action Monday as they travel to take on Ortonville at 7 p.m.
