Man arrested after DL shooting that left one dead, one hurt [UPDATED]

A 38-year old man was arrested Saturday afternoon after two men were shot, one fatally, according to The Forum newspaper of Fargo-Moorhead.

Ronald Matthew Quiceno was arrested without incident Saturday at his Detroit Lakes residence and booked on probable cause of second-degree murder and other related charges.

Authorities report that Quiceno and the two victims argued at a residence in Detroit Lakes shortly after 1 a.m. When Quiceno was asked to leave, he went to his vehicle, retrieved a .22 caliber revolver, and shot both victims.

Travis Dwayne Buckanaga, 23, of DL, died at Essentia Health St. Mary’s. Barris Duane Guy, 26, of DL, was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with non-life threatening injuries.
