Underwood man charged with assault [UPDATED]

An Underwood man was charged with two counts of domestic assault on Jan. 17.

On Jan. 7, Dustin Paul Torvinen, 36, got into a loud argument with his wife which resulted in him grabbing her by the hair and pushing her head against a counter, according to court reports.

Police spoke with the victim at the hospital in New York Mills, where she had visible red marks on her from the altercation. A warrant was issued for the assailant.
