Mark Denbrook, 59, of Denver, Colo.

Mark Denbrook, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Dec. 29, 0212, after an extended illness.

He was born June 12, 1953, in Fergus Falls, to Arnold and Ardis (Finkelson) Denbrook. He was baptized and confirmed at First United Church of Christ and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1971.

He attended Metropolitan University in Denver, and remained in Denver working as a master draftsman specializing in land maps.

Mark was a talented musician and played drums with several Denver area bands. He pioneered the concept of remodeling industrial buildings into rehearsal studios for aspiring local bands.

He is survived by his son, Chancery of Denver, Colo.; sister Nancy Yarwood of Aurora, Colo.; bothers, Roger and Jason of Laughlin Nev., and Keith (Laura) Denbrook of Fergus Falls; a niece, Stacy Kirkvold and a nephew, Christopher Denbrook of St Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Larry Denbrook. Private services are planned in Denver.
