PARKERS PRAIRIE — The Battle Lake boys used a strong transition game Thursday evening as they breezed past Little Eight Conference foe Parkers Prairie 84-49.

Battle Lake came ready to play as they were able to run the court in the first half, building a 38-21 lead at the break.

The Panthers did not have an answer for the visitor in the second half as the scoring onslaught continued to the final buzzer.

Battle Lake’s Dan Marso dropped in 23 points, while teammate Petric Van Erp added 19 tallies in the win.

Brothers Tyler and Tony Ukkelberg were also in double figures for the Battlers with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The Battlers will hit the road Saturday to take on FAIR School at Minnehaha Academy in a 12 p.m. match up.
