Show dates are earlier this year are Friday, March 8 through Sunday, March 10.

Open to third graders and older.

If you’ve been in the show before, you don’t need to do a formal audition — just come and fill out an audition form and conflict calendar and stay a bit for the informational meeting before we start auditioning new people.

• Fergus Falls has talent — A Center for the Arts is hosting a juried community talent show in January.

Performers must audition in advance: Friday, Jan. 11 from 6-8 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon; and from 1 to 5 p.m.

Call or stop by for details. Audition before three judges who will determine whether or not the act is moved to the final ticketed show on Saturday, Jan. 26.

Finalists in each category will be eligible for the two $100 cash prizes.

The two categories are: ages 5-16 and ages 16 to adult. Any and all talents are encouraged.

Also, one of the judges for the final show is Robbyn Navatto, who has been a talent agent for more than 20 years in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and New York.

She runs her own management company and place talents with agencies in New York or Los Angeles for commercials, print work, film acting, and Broadway.

She has worked with more than 20 record labels and music professionals on both coasts.

As a manager, she is able to submit talent for private audition opportunities for shows as “America’s Got Talent” and “The Voice.”

Performance date is Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for Adults and $5 for students.

• Out of Our Father’s House — Saturday, Feb. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This moving play is drawn from the diaries, journals and letters of women: a schoolgirl — founder of the Women’s Suffrage Movement, an astronomer, a labor organizer, a minister, a doctor and a woman from the Jewish ghetto.

They are seen as they grow up, marry, bear children and face being ostracized for wanting careers.

Open auditions are planned for “Out Of Our Father’s House,” a play about six very influential women in history.

Directors are seeking six to seven females to fill roles.

No need to bring anything, just show up and the Director will have material for people to read.
