Published 10:11am Thursday, January 24, 2013 Updated 12:13pm Thursday, January 24, 2013

Help and healing is available to those going through the hurt of separation and divorce. DivorceCare, offered by the First Church of the Nazarene (NAZ) in Fergus Falls, is a friendly, caring group of people who are there to assist those going through one of life’s most difficult experiences.

And NAZ wants people to know that DivorceCare is not just for adults, but for the whole family.

DC4K, or DivorceCare for Kids, provides a safe place where children will learn to understand their feelings, express emotions appropriately, and understand Biblical concepts that will bring comfort to their lives.

The Big D is promotes a teen’s journey in healing, identifying the hurt from divorce, and then challenging them to find the strength to confront, accept and heal from those hurts.

There are 13 sessions, held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning Sunday, Feb. 3 at The Naz. Registration is required. Registration for DivorceCare, DC4K, or The Big D can be done online at www.ffnaz.org.

A separate registration form must be completed for each individual participating.

A workbook is required to participate in the course. The cost of the workbooks are $15 per person.

If you need financial assistance or have questions about DivorceCare, please contact the NAZ at 218-736-2764.
