Annual Fergus Falls Business Expo set for March 6

Published 11:57am Monday, February 4, 2013

The Fergus Falls Business Expo is around the corner, and those wanting a booth should sign up now. The Expo is from 1 to 5 p.m. on March 6 at the Bigwood Event Center in Fergus Falls.

“The last two years we have been at maximum capacity, and we expect to sell out this year as well,” said Mary Robertson, Administrative Assistant in the Economic Improvement Commission office.

The Expo provides an opportunity to learn about companies in the area and network with community leaders. Last year over 90 area businesses and non-profit organizations were on hand to share information.

The 2013 Expo includes a morning session featuring speakers from a number of new business start-ups and the Minnesota Cup business competition program hosted by the Economic Improvement Commission.

During the Expo luncheon, the Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce will recognize members as part of the “Fergus Falls Business Gives.” This year, honored businesses will be Minnesota Motor, LB Homes and Lakes Country Services Cooperative.

The Expo is free to attend and visit the booths in the exhibit hall. The cost for a booth is $90, the cost for the luncheon is $15.
