Published 11:49am Monday, February 4, 2013

St. Cloud Cathedral got off to an early start against the Fergus Falls boys hockey team Friday night, and that proved to be enough as they handed the Otters a 4-1 defeat.

The Otters were outshot by a total of 47-20 in the game. Goaltender Ian Bjorgum had a good night in goal, saving 91 percent of the shots.

St. Cloud Cathedral was able to get two goals in the first, which propelled them throughout the game, as they added two more in the third.

The lone Otter goal was netted by Sam Rausch in the second, with an assist going to Jesse Ketonen.

This loss brings the Otters record to 10-8-3 on the year. They will travel to Alexandria and take on the Cardinals Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
